Construction of the iconic SkyPoint Climb began in September 2011, stirring excitement among locals and tourists alike. This anticipation was heightened when Ardent Leisure offered 12 positions to join this remarkable attraction – spawning an impressive turnout with over 100 applications! After several months of hard work, adventure seekers were rewarded as the climb opened its doors on January 14th 2012.

SkyPoint Observation Deck, located on the 77th and 78th floors of the Q1 building in Surfers Paradise, offers breathtaking 360° views across Brisbane to the north, hinterlands to the west & Byron Bay southwards, plus the Pacific Ocean east. With a capacity for 400 people at 230 metres above sea level, reachable via an express elevator within just 43 seconds, it not only provides spectacular sights but also features many interactive activities like museum visits, weather station readings, and theatre experiences topped with exclusive lounge bar selections!
